As my mother was visiting, I took advantage of a day off and beautiful Spring weather to spend the day skiing with her. We spent the morning enjoying the firm snow on the major Vista-served trails (primarily Hard Luck, Alta Vista, and Spillway) and then turned to some of the less-groomed terrain as the afternoon softened up the snow.
