First Snow: 14 October 2007

A friend and I went for a quick run during the refresher lunchbreak, after getting a report that sufficient cover did exist within the clouds. The folks reporting sufficient cover (i.e. over an inch of snow) were about as optimistic in their snow assessment as we were in our expectation that we could manage to get back down in time for the first afternoon session.
