Despite the appearance of seasonable weather, the first event of the 2007 Night Rider Series saw a reasonable turnout; in deference to the weather, the format was arranged to allow riders and judges to defrost between sessions. I was able to use my strobes and get some decent shots at the rainbow rail during the two open sessions and then move down and get a few on the double-barrel during finals, although the cold did get to both the various batteries involved in a portable lighting setup and, more importantly, my fingers.
