Sunday's Short-Track XC

Separated into three heats (by class and gender, although I forget which combinations were which), no heat was without its tight battles. The course was set behind the base lodge, with roughly half of each lap on the well-packed work road and the other half on freshly-mown grass; the first heat quickly demonstrated that work road holds up much better to traffic than wet grass.
