14 May: Hike to Ricker Antennae

As the weather had been dreary for several days and was forecast to remain dreary for the coming week, I decided that a few hours of dry weather were worth taking advantage of. After leaving the horseshoe around 1700, I ascended via Bear Run and Hard Luck to the top of 8804 and then proceeded via the Ricker Work Road to the antennae installation on Ricker Peak. From there, I returned to the top of 8804 via the work road and then descended Alta Vista to the intersection with Upper Crossover, which I took to the top of 8801. From there, I descended via Peggy Dow's to midstation and then continued on the work road to return to the horseshoe around 2000.
